CorribCharts.com - FREE digital charts of Lough Corrib

If you do not have a GPS and just want to install CorribCharts on your PC, the easiest way is to use Garmin's MapSource. MapSource comes with many Garmin GPS units, but can also be bought if you don't have it.


Luckily, there is a legal way to obtain MapSource for free on your PC. Follow these steps:

1) Download and install Garmin's free Training Centre here

2) Once this software is installed, download and install the Mapsource update file from here. Once this is installed, the full version of Mapsource will be up and running on your PC

3) Request a copy of CorribCharts and install the maps (Make sure MapSource is not running). When CorribCharts finishes installing, run MapSource and choose "Corrib" from the drop-down menu on the top left of the window




This method has been tested and works. If you are having problems, you are doing something wrong. Unfortunately, support is not included with CorribCharts as it is a free utility
